General information

The GTM Germany Travel Mart™ is a trade event for sales promotion designed specifically for the travel industry. Only suppliers from the German travel industry who have registered in advance and invited buyers and journalists from around the world can take part in the GTM. The invitations for international participants (buyers and journalists) will be issued by the local GNTB/Lufthansa offices in the relevant countries. These foreign representative offices will also be responsible for looking after and providing information to the participants both in the run-up to the GTM and during the event itself.

Prices and services

The following services are available for buyers:

  • Tickets for travel to and from the event from the official flight and rail allocations
  • Use of official bus transfers when arriving/departing on Saturday 17 April, Sunday 18 April and Wednesday 21 April 2010
  • Accommodation at a selected hotel in Mainz, Frankfurt or Wiesbaden during the booked period (hotels for international delegations will be specified by the GNTB)
  • Bus transfers to all official GTM events
  • Buyer seminars for specific target groups on Sunday 18 April 2010
  • Attendance at the two-day workshop on Monday 19 April and Tuesday 19 April 2010
  • Participation in the GTM evening-events
  • Sightseeing tour of Mainz and surrounding on Monday 19 April 2010
  • Entry in the GTM catalogue and on the GTM website
  • Use of all online services
  • Participation in one of the post-convention tours following the GTM; participants must register for these separately
  • One-day visits include participation in the workshop only (no PCT, no events)

Participation fees GTM 2010:

5 days / 4 nights: € 250 plus German VAT
4 days / 3 nights: € 225 plus German VAT
3 days / 2 nights € 185 plus German VAT
Day visit (1 day without accommodation): € 70 plus German VAT
Day visit (2 days without accommodation): € 140 plus German VAT
Post-convention tour: € 140 plus German VAT

 

Online registration
  1. In the invitation to the GTM that you have received you will find the general access details which you need, to register online for the event. Please enter the general access details under “Username” and “Password” in the login on the homepage.
  2. Please select “Buyers” in the navigation bar.
  3. Click on the "Registration" link in the left hand menu to register as a buyer. If you did not complete the central login on the homepage you will now be asked to enter the general access details under “Username” and “Password”.
  4. Please complete all sections of the travel trade registration form with care, as your registration details will be published online with no further proofreading and will later be used in the GTM catalogue.
  5. You can also register for one out of the post convention tours at the end of GTM by completing the post convention tour details in the registration form.
  6. A message will appear on your screen to confirm that your online registration has been received. Your personal access details will be sent to you shortly by email (you should then change your password for security reasons). As from logging in for the second time, you may only use these personal access details – the general access details from your invitation will only be valid when logging in for the first time.

Please note that:

  • Only one GTM-ID will be generated for each participant. If other employees from your company wish to view the site or make any changes for you, they must do so using the same GTM-ID.
  • The details registered with regard to your participation will be published on the GTM website and in the GTM catalogue and will therefore be available to suppliers.

Appointments

Before the GTM you have the opportunity of entering appointments with German suppliers online (01 February 2010 till 17 April 2010). German suppliers can block out periods during which they are not able to attend meetings.

For arranging an appointment click “appointments” in the task menu. Then follow the link to the Appointment Manager. Here you can search for your desired counterpart and enter an appointment.

German suppliers receive an e-mail notification with new appointments once a day and can view set up appointments online.

Furthermore you can add appointments in the displayed schedules in the supplier-booths on Monday, 19 April from 08:30 h to 09:00 h.

Registration on site

You will receive your GTM documents at the Hospitality desk in your GTM Hotel. The GTM documents include the GTM Catalogue, which contains the profiles of all German and international participants, as well as further congress documents and general information on the GTM (e.g. Pocket Guide, Treasure Hunt Coupon Book, transfer schedules etc.). You will also receive your personal GTM name badge, which authorises to attend the workshop and the supporting programme. General information on the GTM is provided at the Hospitality Desks during the whole event.

Day visitors register at the Registration-Counter in the Rheingoldhalle.

Message Counter

Every international participant is allocated a Message Box Number which can be found in the GTM-Catalogue and corresponds to a Box at the GNTB Message Counter. Suppliers can invite international participants by leaving them a message at the Message Counter.
